Final Day - Everything but the Magic

I realized as I was typing this blog post that I had forgotten to implement the magic system in my game today, but since I'm thinking of scrapping the battle system during the next game jam I'm not too concerned.

Today I implemented a large map system, tied up some loose ends with actionable environments/items, and created more enemies. I feel like that I've laid down some decent groundwork for my RPG, and it does all the essential things an RPG should do.

This leaves the door open for my next game jam so that I can add some visual enhancements (battle animations/smoother transitions) as well as more in-depth gameplay.  That pretty much brings my first game jam to a close, and I'm looking forward to the next one!
